Li’l Woody’s: Reviews & Ratings
Lil Woody’s makes the best quick burgers in the area. I eat here often when I’m working in the area. You cannot go wrong with their prices considering the quality of their burgers and shakes. The fries are good when you get fry sauce with them. They have monthly burger specials that offer unique flavor combinations. My go-to burgers are the classic Lil Woody burger, the Ballard Salmon burger and the veggie veggie, with cheese. If you are in town for a conference at the convention center or are just downtown and hungry, you won’t be disappointed with Lil Wood’s burgers.
One of my favorite places to eat in the city! The burgers are always great and they have the best onion rings you can buy.
I recently visited this burger place and overall had a pretty good experience. It’s a small spot with a cozy vibe, and the music was surprisingly good — it added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The ambiance was decent, though the cleanliness of the chairs and tables could be improved a bit. Nothing terrible, just not spotless. The burger, however, was absolutely amazing — one of the best I’ve had! At $11, the price is very reasonable, and I loved that you can customize your burger by adding extra ingredients for just $1. I added an egg, and it really elevated the flavor. As a Belgian, I wasn’t a big fan of the French fries. They weren’t double-fried as we do back home, so they came out a bit too fatty for my taste — but I get that’s more the American style. One drawback: no mayonnaise! Just ketchup and mustard. That was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, their milkshakes are fantastic — rich, creamy, and with a nice variety of flavors to choose from. All in all, a solid 4 out of 5. I’d definitely go back for the burger and milkshake
We stumbled into this cute burger place while exploring downtown. The burgers are tasty, and they give you plenty of fries. You can dine in or take out, and there’s seating both downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs is great if you’re just 1-3 people and want a view of the sidewalk, while upstairs has more room if you’ve got a larger group.
I came here hungry looking for a good burger but unsure what to order. The man working the register was so helpful in guiding me through the menu and helping me choose something good. He recommended the big woody. I got a side of fries and onion rings to accommodate the burger. Everything was very reasonably priced. The onion rings were crispy and there fries were good. The fries are soft but had good flavor and there were a lot in the basket. Now I was very surprised by how neatly the burger was assembled. The cross section in my photo shows the nice layers and attention to detail during assembly. The lettuce and tomatoes tasted fresh. For the price, I can not complain. I think there is a fairly decent value proposition here. This place gets a recommendation from me.
First time here, got the limited time only pumpkin shake & sourdough woody. Pumpkin shake was incredible!! Tastes exactly like you’re drinking a pumpkin pie! Sourdough woody was ok, but I’m sure that’s because it’s not a featured item. The amount of fries for $4 was perfect & they were one of the best I’ve had in the city. Will 100% come back!!
A gem of a find! Walked past the place looking for somewhere to have lunch and saw it had a lot of positive reviews. Not surprised given the quality of the burgers — soft buns and juicy patties — and super yummy! Try The Fig and The Pig (which they recommended) and should be marked as a must-try. Cool, laid-back vibe, friendly and helpful staff, fast service, and good value for money.
Great food and chill atmosphere! It’s perfect if you are early for a show at the paramount theater. Grab a quick bite here and walk over the bridge to stand in line. I loved the upstairs dinning, I was able to get some work done while I ate.
